Job summary

TJ Maxx in Pittsfield, MA seeks a front-end leader to oversee Associates, deliver outstanding customer service, and promote loyalty programs. You will lead by example, manage registers, coordinate breaks, and support store operations to keep a clean, organized shopping environment.

You’ll work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, applying merchandising know-how while coaching others to elevate the customer experience and ensure compliance with labor laws and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Promotes an excellent customer experience and positive store environment.
• Oversees Associates at front of store and manages POS coverage and breaks.
• Trains and mentors Associates on front-end principles.
• Addresses customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensures tasks align with store plans and priorities.
• Maintains adherence to labor laws and company policies.
• Supports loyalty programs and store safety initiatives.
