Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Selling and Support Captain to deliver outstanding customer service, merchandising excellence, and build brand loyalty on the sales floor. You will be an advocate for customers and a role model for colleagues.

As an elevated hourly teammate, you will drive results through promotional and Omni selling initiatives, lead tasks, and collaborate with People Leaders to plan store activities and open/close procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of direct retail experience preferred.
• Proficient in communicating effectively with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer orders, merchandising, processing new products, or supervising the selling floor to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Lead colleagues in the execution and completion of assigned tasks.
• Role model for customer experience and provide fast feedback to improve service.
• Ensure high-level customer service through problem-solving and resolutions.
• Promote Macy's mobile app to enhance in-store experience.
• Plan and monitor total store activities with People Leaders.
