Job summary

Von Maur is seeking a Customer Service Counter Associate to keep the store connected as a reliable information and support source. In this fast-paced department, you’ll own the customer experience from greeting to directing customers to the right area.

You’ll answer multi-line phone calls, assist with charge accounts, prepare purchases for shipment, and help maintain a clean, organized department. On-site day, evening, and weekend shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at a busy counter.
• Willingness to work on-site day, evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Answer and transfer or direct customer calls on the telephone.
• Assist with customer charge accounts: open accounts, accept payments, answer questions.
• Prepare, box, and wrap purchases and online orders for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized department and ensure accurate banking deposits.
