Orkin is looking for a Customer Service Specialist in Sterling Heights, MI to be a subject matter expert, field calls, schedule service visits, and coordinate routes to minimize drive time while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Customer Service or Sales preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and follow through.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to schedule, confirm and follow up on service appointments.
• Proficiently navigate a Windows-based & Web-based system to track routes and optimize schedules.
• Schedule appointments for technicians to minimize drive time and distance and suggest better routes.
• Use listening skills and questions to identify customer concerns and needs.
• Maintain customer database with accurate information including call details and payments.
• Reschedule unserviced accounts within 24 hours.
• Participate in quality assurance processes and safeguard privacy and proprietary information.
