Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Customer Care Representative to provide exceptional service to external and internal customers. You will resolve inquiries, build rapport, and act as a subject-matter expert while maintaining security and compliance.

The role supports virtual branch solutions and requires professional communication in a fast-paced environment. Must reside within 50 miles of Charleston, SC, with hours 11am–8pm EST and rotating Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous customer service (Inbound Call Center) experience, Experience in financial services.
• Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Excellent customer service skills including verbal, listening, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with confidential information and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve customer inquiries on first call using active listening and probing.
• Answers inbound phone inquiries timely, accurately, and professionally with a personalized experience.
• Provide tier one digital banking support including MFA unlocks and online banking assistance; Reg-E disputes.
