Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Customer Care Representative in the Charleston, SC area to provide a seamless customer experience across banking products and services.

You will resolve inquiries on accounts, loans, online banking, and payments, building trust and following procedures while promoting our digital banking solutions. The role requires empathy, excellent communication, and availability 11am–8pm EST with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service (Inbound Call Center) experience preferred.
• Experience in financial services and strong computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve customer inquiries using active listening and probing for first call resolution.
• Answers inbound phone inquiries timely, accurately, and professionally with a personalized experience.
• Provide tier one digital banking support including MFA unlock, online banking help, and debit card assistance.
• Process customer inquiries accurately to build trust and adhere to policies.
