Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support our service team in delivering exceptional pest control experiences. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, schedule visits, and coordinate routes to improve efficiency while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring prior customer service or sales experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Customer Service or Sales preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and schedule, confirm and follow up on service appointments
• Navigate a Windows-based and Web-based system to track routes and schedules
• Schedule technicians to minimize drive time and optimize routes
• Identify customer concerns and evaluate needs through probing questions
• Maintain customer database with accurate information including call details and outcomes
• Reschedule unserviced accounts within 24 hours
• Participate in quality assurance processes and programs
• Safeguard customer privacy and proprietary information
