Job summary

Orkin, part of Rollins, Inc., is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support our pest-control customers. You’ll handle calls, schedule visits, and ensure accurate, timely service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Customer Service or Sales preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and follow through.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to customers to schedule, confirm and follow up on service appointments.
• Navigate Windows-based and Web-based systems to track routes and optimize current and future schedules.
• Schedule appointments for technicians to minimize drive time and suggest alternative routes when needed.
• Use listening and questioning to identify customer concerns and needs.
• Maintain accurate customer information, call details, and payments in the database.
• Reschedule unserviced accounts within 24 hours.
• Participate in quality assurance processes and initiatives.
• Safeguard customer privacy and proprietary information.
