Job summary

Nordstrom in Spokane is seeking a friendly, customer‑focused team member to provide service, resolve returns, support order pickup, and process transactions accurately.

You will mentor new hires on the register, build trust with customers and colleagues, and contribute to a positive, shop‑floor environment. Hours include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leaders.
• Proficiency in multiple operating systems such as Windows, iOS and Android.
• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver seamless, friendly service by understanding customer needs and owning interactions from start to finish, whether resolving returns and exchanges, or supporting order and pickup inquiries
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns with empathy, sound judgment, and a solutions-focused approach
• Accurately process transactions and ticketing using POS and store systems to support inventory accuracy
• Build relationships with teammates and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment
• Protect the security and privacy of customer information through education, compliance and resolution of issues
• Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Loyalty program, along with new tools, software, and services that enhance the customer and employee experience
• Hours vary based on business needs, including evenings and weekends
