Job summary

Citizens Bank in Vermont seeks a Customer Service Associate to greet customers in the lobby, demonstrate how to use the Citizens mobile app and ATMs, and assist with simple transactions to create meaningful experiences.

You will offer personalized advice to help customers meet financial goals, educate them on Citizens products, and connect them with Bankers for next steps while complying with all cash handling policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship.
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in the lobby and demonstrate how to use the mobile app or ATMs to complete simple transactions.
• Provide personalized advice and solutions to help customers achieve financial goals and connect them to Bankers for next steps.
• Educate customers about Citizens products and benefits and respond to questions and concerns.
• Follow all financial policies and procedures, including cash handling and regulatory requirements.
