Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a friendly, customer-focused banker to build lasting relationships by offering sound financial advice. You’ll help customers with spending, saving, borrowing, and investing needs and introduce them to digital banking options.

You’ll collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking to serve more complex needs, make outbound calls to grow the customer base, and adhere to all policies, including cash handling and SAFE Act requirements.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
• Ability to ask questions and identify customer needs to improve relationships.
• Proven success in building relationships and recommending products/services via in-person and phone interactions.
• Proficiency with digital tools to support business goals.
• Strong problem solving and solution orientation for customer issues.
• Collaborates with teammates, partners and specialists to strengthen relationships.
• Self-motivated, confident and able to multitask.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings.
• Comply with SAFE Act requirements including pre-employment checks and NMLS identifier.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound financial advice and recommendations to customers.
• Help customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Introduce customers to digital/mobile banking and assist with transactions.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Banking partners for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
• Follow all financial policies and procedures with accurate cash handling.
