Job summary

The Aaron's Company, Inc. is seeking a Customer Accounts Advisor to coach customers toward ownership while driving collections and lease renewals.

You will build trust through phone and in-person interactions, guiding customers to responsible ownership of their merchandise. The role emphasizes strong communication, empathy and problem-solving, with eligible incentive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and employee programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old in the United States; 18+ in Canada.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and compliance with Driver Qualification Policy; DOT certification if required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. alone and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system and track payments and history.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Load, secure product and safely operate the company vehicle.
• Clean and certify returned merchandise.
