Job summary

The Aaron’s Company, Inc. offers a Customer Accounts Advisor role in Ardmore, OK. You will handle payment collections, renewals, and owner-assembly discussions with customers over the phone and in person to move them toward ownership of their merchandise.

The position emphasizes strong communication, problem solving and a customer‑first mindset. Competitive pay includes hourly wages with performance-based incentive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age for US positions and at least 18 for Canada.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license and compliance with the Driver Qualification Policy.
• Must be able to be DOT certified, if required in location of position.
• Must be able to work hours 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs alone and up to 300 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system, including payments and history.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Loading, appropriately securing product and safely operating the company vehicle.
• Clean and certify returned merchandise.
