Job summary

Aaron’s, Inc. is seeking a Customer Accounts Advisor to coach customers on payment collections and lease renewals, driving ownership of merchandise. Responsibilities include maintaining customer records, building relationships, and handling renewals by phone or home visits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old in the US and 18 in Canada.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• DOT certification may be required at location.
• Able to work a schedule from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs solo; up to 300 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system, including payment appointments and account history.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits, as required.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Loading, appropriately securing product and safely operating the company vehicle.
• Clean and certify returned merchandise.
