Job summary

Aaron’s is seeking a Customer Accounts Advisor in California to coach customers, drive collections and lease renewals, and guide ownership of merchandise. You will engage customers by phone or in person to ensure satisfaction and progress toward ownership goals.

The role offers an hourly wage of $18.00–$19.00 with eligibility for performance-based incentive pay, plus benefits and opportunities for advancement. Schedule includes 8:00 am–9:00 pm shifts across six days.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system, including payment appointments and account history.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits, as required.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Loading, appropriately securing product and safely operating the company vehicle.
• Clean and certify returned merchandise.
