Job summary

Aaron’s in the United States is seeking a Customer Accounts Advisor who coaches customers, drives payment collections and lease renewals, and helps customers move toward ownership of their merchandise. You’ll build relationships over the phone and in person to ensure 100% satisfaction with the product and service.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage ($14.25–$15.00) with incentive pay, plus benefits like paid time off, health/dental/vision, a 401(k), and on‑demand pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age for positions within the United States and at least 18 years of age in Canada.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to be DOT certified, if required in location of position (United States Only).
• Able to work a schedule of hours varying from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on your own and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.
• Retail/customer service experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system, including payment appointments and account history.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits, as required.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Loading, appropriately securing product and safely operating the company vehicle.
• Clean and certify returned merchandise.
