Job summary

The Aaron’s Company, Inc. is seeking a Customer Accounts Advisor in the United States.

The role focuses on driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals, with customer service delivered both over the phone and in person to move customers toward ownership of their merchandise. Offering an hourly wage of $17.00–$18.00 plus incentive pay based on performance, the position includes comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old in the United States (18+ in Canada).
• Requires a valid state driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including satisfactory MVR.
• Must be able to be DOT certified, if required in location of position.
• Able to work a schedule of hours varying from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on your own and up to 300 lbs. assisted with appropriate equipment and/or another associate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system, including payment appointments and account history.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits, as required.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Loading, appropriately securing product and safely operating the company vehicle.
• Clean and certify returned merchandise.
