Job summary

Aaron’s is seeking a Customer Accounts Advisor in the Steubenville, OH area. The role focuses on coaching customers to drive payment collections and lease renewals, with relationships built over the phone and in person to move ownership of merchandise forward.

The position offers an hourly range of $13.50–$15.50 with potential incentive pay and a comprehensive benefits package across insurance, retirement, and wellness programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system, including payment appointments and account history.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits, as required.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Loading, appropriately securing product and safely operating the company vehicle.
• Clean and certify returned merchandise.
