Job summary

The Aaron’s Company, Inc. in Abilene, TX is seeking a Customer Accounts Advisor to drive payments and renewals while delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves coaching customers toward ownership of merchandise, with phone and in-person engagement. We offer an hourly wage range of $12.25–$13.00 plus incentive pay based on performance, plus a benefits package including health coverage, retirement plans and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system, including payment appointments and account history.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits, as required.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Loading, appropriately securing product and safely operating the company vehicle.
• Clean and certify returned merchandise.
