Job summary

Aarons in Michigan is seeking a Customer Accounts Advisor to coach customers toward ownership by guiding lease renewals and timely payments. You will build relationships over the phone and in person to drive renewals and satisfaction with the product.

The role emphasizes empathy, active listening, and strong communication to navigate conversations and support revenue goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• United States age 21+ with valid driver's license and MVR on file.
• Must meet DOT certification requirements to operate in required states.
• Ability to work 8am–9pm shifts and lift up to 50 lbs (and 300 with dolly).
• Two years of retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update customer accounts in store system and document payments.
• Contact customers who have not renewed leases via in-home visits or phone.
• Promote timely lease payments and renewals to customers.
• Assist in achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Handle merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
• Prepare and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets.
• Load, secure and transport products in company vehicle.
• Support the Sales Team as needed.
