Job summary

Aarons in Texas is seeking a Customer Account Advisor to coach customers, drive payments, and renew lease agreements. The role focuses on building relationships over the phone and in person to move customers toward ownership.

You will handle account maintenance, renewal outreach, and support the sales team, with a customer-centric approach and a drive to meet revenue targets. Compensation includes an hourly wage plus incentive pay.

Qualifications

• US resident aged 21+ with valid state Driver’s License and favorable MVR; Canada 18+.
• Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states.
• Ability to work hours 8am–9pm.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with dolly.
• Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High energy with ability to multitask and perform store functions.

Responsibilities

• Attainment and upkeep of customers’ accounts; maintain updated customer information in store system.
• Direct contact with customers who have not renewed leases via home visits or phone.
• Sell benefits of timely lease renewal payments.
• Assist Customer Account Manager in meeting daily/weekly/monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
• Clean and certify merchandise in QA Center for items returned.
• Complete weekly vehicle maintenance sheet and route sheets daily.
• Load, secure and protect product in company vehicle; safely operate vehicle.
• Assist Sales Team as needed.
• Any reasonable duties requested by management.
