Curriculum Manager - CTE Programming & Software Development (Immediate Opening)

The mission of the Programming & Software Development Career and Technical Education (CTE) Curriculum Manager is to manage and support the successful implementation of the CTE curriculum at IDEA Public Schools. The Curriculum Manager will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive, research-based, standards-aligned, and user-friendly curriculum. They will execute a curriculum support system to enhance teacher effectiveness and student success, including conducting site visits, providing feedback, designing professional development, and reporting on student progress.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine curriculum products, including scope and sequences and instructional resources.
• Align instructional materials to standards and develop assessments.
• Support and evaluate curriculum implementation through site visits and feedback.
• Design and facilitate professional development sessions.
• Analyze student achievement data to inform instruction and curriculum adjustments.
• Support, mentor, and develop Course Leaders and teachers.
• Lead district-wide professional development and training initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to improve curriculum and instructional practices.
• Travel for site visits, trainings, and meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Educator certification required.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience in relevant content area.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, educational technology, and curriculum design software.

Location & Travel

This is a full-time, remote position based in Texas, with a preference for candidates in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin, Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, or Tarrant County. Travel up to 30% during peak times is expected.
