Curriculum Manager
Mission:
The mission of the Middle School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Curriculum Manager is to manage and support the successful implementation of the CTE curriculum at IDEA Public Schools. The Curriculum Manager will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive, research-based, standards-aligned, and user-friendly curriculum. The role involves executing a curriculum support system to enhance teacher effectiveness and student success through site visits, feedback, professional development, and monitoring student progress.

Location: This full-time position is based in Texas, with preference for candidates in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or those willing to relocate.
Travel Expectations: While primarily remote, the role requires in-person meetings, campus visits, and travel up to 30% during peak times.
Accountabilities include creating and refining curriculum products, aligning instructional materials to standards, developing assessments, analyzing student data, supporting professional development, and collaborating with team members.
Additional duties involve supporting curriculum design, standards compliance, assessment development, and professional growth initiatives.
Knowledge and Skills required include curriculum design, understanding of state standards, assessment familiarity, research skills, organizational and communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
Minimum experience includes a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), educator certification, at least five years of relevant teaching experience, and proficiency in Microsoft 365 and educational technology.
Preferred experience encompasses a strong record of student achievement, curriculum development, assessment design, professional development facilitation, and leadership in curriculum projects.
Physical requirements involve sitting for extended periods, lifting up to 20 pounds, and travel for meetings and observations.
What We Offer: Salary ranges from $81,800 to $95,800, commensurate with experience, plus performance pay.
