Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is hiring for a versatile kitchen position.

You will prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and support occasional catering functions. The role involves operating slicers, mixers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment, all while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. You will work across kitchen duties, from baking items to stocking and presenting food with hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math operations and interpret percentages.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions; follow standardized procedures.
• Safe operation of kitchen equipment per safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of serving lines and maintain food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper FIFO stock rotation.
• Assist in baking and presenting goods to customers; uphold quality presentation and hospitality.
• Follow HACCP processes and daily/weekly safety logs.
