Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks to fill a kitchen and cafeteria support role.

You will prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings, assist serving lines, and participate in occasional catering. You will perform all kitchen positions as required and ensure food safety and quality throughout service. Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, following recipes, maintaining equipment, and assisting with administrative tasks such as cash handling and timekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple memos.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with serving lines setup and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods per the menu plan and plan ahead for next day's menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Maintain HACCP and safety logs; monitor temperatures of hot and cold foods.
• Handle customer monies at service time and operate cash register or POS as needed.
