Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings and assist with serving lines. You will work across kitchen functions, prep ahead for menus, and ensure food safety and quality in a cafeteria environment.

Responsibilities include setting up lines, batch cooking, equipment operation, and maintaining inventory. Strong adherence to recipes, presentation, and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write simple notes.
• Basic math skills for portions and measurements.
• Ability to present information clearly to customers and staff.
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP basics is expected.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per the menu plan and recipes; batch cook as needed.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas; FIFO inventory practices.
• Assist in prep for next day menus and restock supplies.
• Assist with handling cash when required and complete daily tasks.
