Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking staff to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings and assist with serving lines in a school-based cafeteria setting. You will participate in occasional catering, keep lines stocked, and ensure proper food temperatures in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities include following menu plans, preparing baked goods, maintaining FIFO inventory, and adhering to HACCP and safety policies while delivering friendly, dependable service to students and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one-month related experience, training, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings and assist with serving lines.
• Assist in the preparation of foods per menu and recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification and maintain cleanliness.
