Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Culinary Arts or related field with 30 credit hours in culinary coursework.
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of full‑time experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, hotel, or foodservice setting.

Responsibilities

• Teach Culinary Arts courses in accordance with SCTC and state standards.
• Develop and deliver lecture and lab-based instruction on food preparation, sanitation, and culinary techniques.
• Assist with annual Culinary Arts fundraising events and other related activities.
• Prepare and maintain lesson plans, syllabi, attendance records, grades, and program documentation.
