The role emphasizes student interaction, timely communication, grading, and collaboration with academic staff. Associates in Culinary Arts and teaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates in Culinary Arts preferred.
• 1 year online teaching experience preferred.
• Completion of an accredited program in occupational area of instruction plus 2 years’ work experience or 5 years related to the occupational industry.

Responsibilities

• Engages all students to facilitate and achieve course learning outcomes.
• Customize course shell with value-added content and case studies.
• Interact with students in discussion boards toward course outcomes.
• Coach struggling students toward success.
• Identify at risk students and coordinate for success.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
• Submit final course grades by the block deadline.
• Attend program meetings and faculty meetings.
• Relate industry experience to learning and trends.
• Assist the Executive Chef on course tasks.
• Support Registrar with student records.
