Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Principal Architect - Sales Engineer to craft end-to-end enterprise wireline and wireless solutions in collaboration with senior IT and business executives. You will identify opportunities, coordinate internal resources, and act as a trusted partner to help customers realize their goals.

You’ll illustrate the value of complex solutions to executive audiences, shaping roadmaps while balancing technical and business needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work or military experience, or training.
Sold, designed, or consulted on technical enterprise business solutions.
Executive Presence / CTO-Ready Trusted Advisor — engaging with customer CTOs and senior technology leadership.

Responsibilities

Understand customer business challenges, goals, and environment.
Design the right package of solutions and services to meet the customer need.
Write proposals and support the contracting process—ensuring that all technical needs along with legal and compliance needs are all satisfied.
Incorporating internal and third party suppliers as appropriate to meet the customer need.
Ensuring the feasibility of the proposed solution with the delivery and product teams.
Building and communicating the value proposition with client executives and key partners.
