Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills for diverse populations.
• Strong organizational, planning and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
• Experience creating and facilitating workshops and presenting information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and data reporting.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff and students in a college environment.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain systems to gather and disseminate employer- and program-specific data.
• Provide industry-specific professional development and job-search guidance to students.
• Plan activities to boost student engagement in professional development and job readiness.
• Serve as a resource for industry-specific career development topics.
• Collaborate with faculty and Career Connections on internships and employment resources.
• Coordinate with departments to increase student participation in pathways and co-curricular activities.
• Deliver information on career options and services to students and faculty.
• Document student placement status and progress; provide reports as required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in career and technical education, vocational education, business education, technology education, human development, student personnel, or higher education leadership
