Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Career or Technical area or equivalent.
• Act 153 Clearances (Act 34 PA Criminal Background, Act 151 PAChild Abuse History, Act 114 FBI Cogent ClearanceFingerprinting).
• Three years of experience in student services, careercounseling, case management, advising, education, human resources,or related fields.
• A minimum of three years proven experience teaching in aclassroom
• One year assisting college students in an advising, counseling,or academic coaching position at an institution of highereducation; OR one year employed as a case manager in a humanservice organization
• Familiarity with the mission of a comprehensive communitycollege.

Responsibilities

• Foster persistence and completion among CTE students.
• Conduct student intake meetings to assess goals and needs.
• Implement strategies to identify at-risk students and monitor progress.
• Provide coaching through individual or group sessions and success plans.
• Collaborate with faculty, advisors, and staff to support student success.
• Assist with career exploration and pathway planning.
• Deliver workshops on career readiness and employability skills.
• Identify opportunities for apprenticeships, internships, or work-based learning.
• Connect students with career resources and job placement services.
• Support recruitment and outreach for CTE programs.
