Job summary

The School District of Philadelphia is seeking an Industry Development Specialist to lead Health and Education CTE Programs and guide districtwide CTE initiatives for high school students. You will work directly with schools, administrators, and teachers to ensure equity, quality, and access to CTE offerings.

In this role, you will monitor programs, provide technical guidance, and develop partnerships with industry and postsecondary entities to align with priority occupations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; six years of full-time, paid professional experience in career and technical education or a related field with program development and industry certification.
  • Alternative: six years of experience in CTE with program development and high school ed in a dynamic urban school system.
  • Alternative: six years of experience in the related industry area with program development and implementation experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with ten years of related experience in industry with program development/PM.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors CTE programs for fidelity and conducts on-site evaluations.
  • Provides technical assistance to industry-specific CTE programs.
  • Develops and implements programs aligned to high-priority occupations.
  • Builds partnerships with business, industry, and postsecondary providers.
  • Supports budget planning and procurement related to CTE programs.
  • Administers program evaluations and coordinates committees and task forces.
