Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT Team at our MetroHealth Medical Center in Northeast Ohio. You will produce high quality CT images and assist with CT guided procedures, biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.

The role requires ARRT CT credential (or obtaining within one year), a valid Ohio Radiographer License, and ability to educate patients while coordinating inpatients and outpatients. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and CT credential or obtain within one year of employment
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH)
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations
• Communicate effectively under stress and with minimal supervision
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team
