Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Northeast Ohio. You will produce quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient care for inpatients and outpatients.

This role offers Day/Evening shifts, 4x10-hour schedules, with start times around 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM and every fourth Sunday on call. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for external applicants and cross-training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
• On the spot critical thinking and effective communication.
