Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT team in the Cleveland area. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with complex CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for both inpatients and outpatients.

The role requires ARRT registration with CT credential (or plan to obtain within one year), Ohio Radiographer License, and BLS certification. You will work closely with nurses, physicians, and therapists to deliver safe, efficient imaging services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
