Job summary

MetroHealth seeks a radiology CT technologist to join our CT team in Northeast Ohio. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program with ARRT registration and Ohio licensure. CT credential within one year is required, and BLS certification should be obtained during probation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Performs a variety of technical CT procedures for diagnosis and imaging.
• Maintains safe and supportive environment, assisting radiologists and nursing staff.
