Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to join the team. You will perform CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, and prepare inpatients and outpatients for exams.

Requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registration, Ohio Radiographer license, and BLS. Cross-training and collaboration with nurses and physicians are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Communicate effectively with team under stress and with minimal supervision.
