Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join the Radiology Department in Ohio. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The role requires ARRT, Ohio Radiographer license, and BLS certification, with cross-training and collaboration across nursing and physician staff. Competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
• Work with CT staff closely with Nurses, Physicians, and other care team members throughout the hospital.
