MetroHealth’s Radiology Department is seeking a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures. You will work with nurses, physicians and other care team members to ensure safe, accurate imaging for trauma, stroke and cancer patients.

The role requires ARRT certification, CT credential (or within one year of employment) and an Ohio Radiographer license, with on-site work and a 4x10 schedule. BLS certification is required.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or within probationary period.

Responsabilidades

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Perform patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Communicate effectively and work well under stress as part of the CT team.
