Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to join the CT team in the Cleveland area. The role involves producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registered, with CT credential or pending within a year, and hold a valid Ohio Radiographer License.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain comfort and understanding.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
