Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Northeast Ohio is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to join our CT team. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT certified, Ohio Radiographer licensed, with BLS. We offer cross-training, competitive benefits, and opportunities to work with a state-of-the-art imaging fleet.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program is required.
• ARRT registered radiologic technologist required.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) required.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
