Job summary

MetroHealth's Radiology Department in Ohio invites a CT Technologist to join a busy hospital team. You will produce high-quality CT images across diverse settings and assist with CT-guided procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT CT credential (or plans to obtain within a year), Ohio Radiographer License, and BLS certification. You will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and therapists to deliver excellent care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT CT credential or plans to obtain within 1 year.
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) is required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images in diverse settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Schedule and coordinate imaging for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Communicate effectively and work well under stress within the CT team.
