Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Ohio. The role involves producing high-quality CT images, supporting CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Cross-training and team collaboration are emphasized to ensure optimal patient care. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT credentials (CT and general), active Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification or

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Communicate effectively with care teams and function well under stress.
• Collaborate with CT staff, nurses, physicians and other team members to deliver high-quality care.
