Job summary

Lob is seeking a Business Operations Manager to own cross-functional programs spanning Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, and GTM. You will move ambiguous problems into documented, measured processes with named owners and defined end dates.

You’ll analyze workflows, push for program completion across multiple teams, and deliver leadership-ready updates with clear reasoning and outcomes. Bachelor's degree required.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years post-undergrad in management consulting/corporate strategy or business operations
• Bachelor's degree is required
• Strong program management and cross-functional coordination
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own program execution: manage 3–5 cross-functional programs with defined end states, statuses, owners, and due dates
• Drive outcomes across teams: push programs to completion across Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, partner ops, and GTM
• Diagnose and redesign workflows: quantify current state costs and design automated or consolidated replacements
• Deliver the analysis: provide data-driven analyses using Lob's data, reporting stack, and AI tools
• Hand off what you build: document programs on completion and transition to a permanent owner with measurable metrics
• Communicate to leadership: prepare and deliver program reviews and status updates with recommendations and rationale
• Cover the gaps: provide backup analytics support for FP&A, Deal Desk, and company cadences like QBRs and leadership offsites
