Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions is the retail division of Nutrien, offering full-acre solutions through a vast network of crop consultants. This role focuses on developing new prospects and increasing sales of agricultural inputs, while ensuring customer satisfaction and managing credit risk.

You will work with growers to prescribe actions, expand proprietary product sales, and support financial processes to maintain healthy margins and efficient deliveries.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred; in lieu of degree, 5+ years agriculture experience are acceptable.
• 2+ years' experience using standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the agriculture industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with existing growers to increase agricultural inputs sales to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Manage sales to meet profit margin goals.
• Assure customer satisfaction of products including on-time and accurate delivery and quality.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase the sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe actions to resolve issues.
• Resolve issues associated with adverse product results.
• Perform initial credit review of customers to understand credit risk and provide necessary information to Credit Manager.
