Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a sales-oriented professional to join our agronomy team in the United States. You will partner with senior crop consultants, develop new prospects, and manage relationships with growers to drive sales of agricultural inputs and meet profit goals.

The role encompasses ensuring on-time delivery, advising on proprietary product strategies, and assisting with credit risk assessment and collections.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred, in lieu of degree, 5+ years agriculture experience and high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior Crop Consultants to gain skills and understanding in the sale of agricultural inputs and customer interaction.
• Develop new prospects and interact with existing growers to increase sales of agricultural inputs to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Assure customer satisfaction of products including, but not limited to on time and accurate delivery and quality of product.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase the sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe appropriate actions to resolve issues. Resolve issues associated with adverse product results.
• Perform initial credit review of customers to understand credit risk and provide information to Credit Manager to determine limits.
• Collect outstanding accounts receivables from customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
