Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking Registered Nurses for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, in Ohio. You will provide advanced nursing care in a cardiac hospitalist environment with a 24-bed CCSD unit and a 5:1 patient ratio, supporting complex patients such as CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.

Qualifications include Ohio RN licensure, active BLS, ACLS within 6 months. BSN preferred. Sign-on bonuses are available for experienced RNs and new graduates as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Ohio RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days; ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret EKGs.
• Provide central line care.
• Support Bi-PAP, high-flow oxygen, and trach/vent care.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, nurse interns, providers, PT/OT.
