Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) in Ohio. The role supports patients with complex cardiac and medical conditions, performing high-level care in a 24-bed unit with 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratios.

The RN will utilize skills in EKG interpretation, central line care, and advanced airway/ventilation support, while collaborating with PCNAs, interns, and other providers to ensure safe, effective care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
