Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West). You will manage high-acuity patients, perform central line care, and assist with bedside procedures within a 24-bed CCSD unit, ensuring quality care and patient safety.

The role requires BLS/ACLS certification and an active Ohio RN license, with rotating weekends/holidays and bi-weekly 72-hour schedules. A generous sign-on bonus is offered for qualified experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) for high-acuity patients.
• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry for stability.
• Perform central line care and assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT/OT; ensure patient safety and timely care.
